UNS S32205 Seamless Hydraulic Control Line Tube

Tiptop's coiled seamless tubing is available in numerous high-performing, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and duplex steel alloys including many 300 Series alloys, Alloy 825, Alloy 625, Duplex 2205(UNS S32205) and Super Duplex 2205(UNS S32750) . All tubing can be coated with PVC or TPU providing additional protection against the elements and line identification.

The 2205 duplex stainless steel is composed of 22% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy. It has high strength, good impact toughness and good overall and local resistance to stress corrosion. The high yield strength of 2205 duplex stainless steel makes itself light, boasting a price advantage over 316 and 317 L. It is particularly suitable for temperatures in the -50°F/+600°F range.

The 2205 duplex stainless steel capillary tube can be produced into heat exahanger tube for petrochemical, chemical and ocean development fields, heater tubes, condenser tubes, sulfuric and phosphoric acids tubes, API tubes. It also can be used for gas turbine and prochemical processing as well as construction and ornament. In acid production, waste incineration, FGD, paper processing industries, etc, it covers a wide range of uses.

Standard: ASTM-A 789 Standard specification for seamless and welded ferretic/austenitic stainless steel tubing for general service. This specification covers various grades of duplex stainless steels.
